  1. Hope this helps! Also if you want to protect your MacBook Pro keyboard grab this: https://www.editorskeys.com/collections/keyboard-covers/products/macbook-pro-keyboard-cover

  2. IT WORKS!! Had a problem with the anti reflection coating that was getting worse & worse. Watched this thought nahh can't be true. Didn't have any Listerine, not going to get any during lockdown. Tried a corner of my screen with Corsodyl Daily, seemed to work, moved to a larger area, took some rubbing seemed to work! Eventually did the entire screen!! Now got a nice shiny screen again, Result!!

  3. Good tip / video HOWEVER what the video doesn't tell you is the amount of time it takes to do a good professional job. In total it took me about two hours, it will also make your hand / wrist / arm ache! I actually used just a cheap alternative to Listerine, as all mouthwash uses the same ingredients. I finished off by using Mr Muscle glass cleaner and now my screen looks as good as new. Thanks!

  4. It worked!! Watch out with the amount of mouth water, I think i had too much on my microfibre, now the left down corner is a little bit strange. A very light spot..

  5. God…thank you for this. This had been my pain for almost two years, kind of embarrassing in front of clients as if the screen was dirty. I got better results by alternating listerine with a humid cloth. also letting listerine do its thing for a couple of minutes.

  6. omg this is real, i thought of replacing the screen that will cost me 500 dollars but i dont need it now tqvm

  7. Windex got rid of the easy coatings …. then I used 70% IPA next.. For the really stubborn coating … I used Glass polish. Eventually all came out. But without the coating, you can see some imperfections of the panel surface which was annoying once you know it is there. So I stuck on a tempered glass. Looks great and protected now.

  8. In my Macbook, Listerine didn't work entirely, and it was a bit scary, but everything went good by the end.

Listerine only worked on parts of the screen that were already deliminating. The other parts were pretty good, and I learned it the hard way, couldn't get them off even after some good effort.

Then I searched online and saw people that had better results with wipes, be it antibacterial, baby or even makeup removal wipes.

So I tried with makeup removal wipes from my wife and it worked great, WAY better than Listerine. It still took some effort, but now my screen looks much better than before, the stains are gone.

But only recommend people to do it if the damage is really bugging you. The coating was actually hard to remove from the spots that weren't delaminating yet, so it's better to wait for the problem to develop, it'll be easier to remove then.

  9. Thank you so much for this. I tried this today with a generic mouthwash and it worked like a treat. Afterwards, I did clean the screen with a screen wipe, and as others have said it came up like new. Thank you !

  10. This worked very well! I used CVS brand (the orange color) and microfiber cloth. A little laborious, but well worth it! Maybe add a screen glare protector after.

  11. Thank you so much for your video! I want to add on top of your precious video a little advice based on my experience. Initially this method could seem not effective. I do not know the reason but when I was trying for almost 20 minutes nothing happened. I was a bit frustrated and I wanted to give up but I tried to change method making with the cloth small fast circle adding a bit more pressure. Well…suddenly I started seeing the light out of the tunnel…a little portion of my Laptop started looking better. It took me few hours to clean it entirely and now it is like new. So, I would recommend to keep trying because I sense this method always works but sometimes it might require more time, sometimes less…

  12. I have some small spots that annoy me, and am scared of doing this and making it worst, Was perhaps planning on putting a screen protector over it so it would hide but am not sure if that helps anyway :/

  13. It works! I used Dollar Tree Assured Spring Mint Mouth Rinse Antiseptic. Listerine knock off. Screen looks brand new. Took 5 mins. Microfiber, rubbed lightly as to not crack screen. Used Goo Gone to clear sticky residue. Wiped with clean microfiber. Thank you.
