  1. Mine running fine for most tasks, but feel a little bit laggy once, having multiple chrome tabs on. I wish I had gone for a 16gb of ram.

  2. Recently bought a 2014 MacBook Pro 256 gig/8 gig. It's very fast, screen quality is amazing, battery life is good (I can watch about 5-6 hours of Netflix). Amazingly they're now selling for $150 more than I paid about a month ago (mine was $625 refurbished from Amazon + $75 2 -year protection plan). Bought a clear case for like $12 on Amazon. It lifts it up a tad and has vent holes which keep the temperature down.
Only gripe : no Touch ID. Laptops had this feature back in 2007 or earlier.

  3. Im a filmmaker and i still use 2014 13” to edit 4k videos on fcpx like butter battery cycles still only 170 because its always plugged run like beandnew

  4. Hello, so my MacBook Pro 2008 died yesterday and I am considering to buy a 2013 2014 MacBook Pro. I am a little afraid that iit won’t be updatebale soon. Anyone got tips for me?

  5. Yo I gotta Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM AND SSD and it runs amazing I can’t part with it sad day when that happens. Great video! 👍👍

  6. I'm still using my 2014 MacBook pro retina, many hours a day for 5+ years and it still works flawlessly. Love it. You also dont have to use the "click." You can change it in settings to touch to click.

  7. I still have my mid-2009 MBP and changed the HDD to a 512GB SSD about 6 years ago. Never had a any trouble with it my first and only Apple laptop. But recently multiple programs are freezing and I need to Force Quit repeatedly. Other times it runs fine. I hate the new ones that only have USB3 ports and no other type! I don't want to spend money on the older ones that have the butterfly keyboard so I'm considering buying a 2014 model. OR going PC laptop and saving $$.

  8. The trackpad, I just upgraded my mac to Catalina and I don't have to force to click on it.

  9. I'm currently looking at a maxed out 2014 MBP 15"
    2.8GHz quad core i7
    1TB SSD flash storage
Intel Iris Pro & GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5
    Asking $1100 Canadian

Is this a good price and will it perform well for video editing ( some 4k editing )

  10. Hey, I thought this was a great video, definitely worth a like 👊 I just uploaded a video about my top 5 accessories for the MacBook Pro😊 If you get the chance I’d love any comments or feedback you had on it! Keep up the great work ❤️
